| | Boot Camp with Chantelle. Good class, lots of sweat. I felt pretty good but not great. Not enough rest on the weekend. During abs at the end I wasn't feeling it so left a few minutes early. For my personal injury records, during the warmup run my groin muscle (that often gives me problems) started acting up. Not sure what that's about or when I hurt it. It wasn't horrible, but hasn't hurt when running in 12 months or more. Grrr.
I've hardly run this month, mostly by design, but I'm starting to miss it. My feet aren't really feeling much better but if I get running and they hurt worse, it may give me the impetus to do something about it. It was really nice going to spin class with my wife, but no reason I can't get up early and run, then take her to spin class.

| | After such an embarrassing September, I'm starting off October with a run. Gorgeous weather outside, 59F with no wind, no clouds and lots of sun. Felt great. No watch, no headphones. I just ran. But in way better weather than IJR just runs.

| | Noon Boot Camp. Sweaty shins = awesome. This was a double sweaty shin day (say that 5 times fast in front of an impressionable child), and a 4-wringer headband day as well. Awesome.

| | Going for a double workout day today, and maybe, just maybe, a double digit miles week. Ah.Maze.Ing.
Ran 4 TM progressive miles at the Y starting at 9:13 pace then faster each mile to a 6:58 for the last quarter.
Noon: Part 2 of my double workout was Boot Camp. It was a good 'un and I'm a gonna be sore. She had us do 2 exercises at each station, and we did 55 of each in an inverted triangle. 10 pushups, then run to half court and back; 9 pushups, halfcourt & back; etc. I kind of liked it. I think I'll sleep well tonight. I should be able to get a nice 6 miler in tomorrow. That would be a big win for me, and probably the right distance.

| | 6 TM miles at the Y. A couple hours later and legs are feeling it. I will be hitting some regular miles from here out. Ugh. Wish I was at SGM this morning. |
