4 miles at lunch while a severe thunderstorm was looming. Thankfully made it back to the Y, showered, and walked back to the office before it started. Nice amount of rain, little bit of hail. My 3rd mile I ran at MP, which I think is going to be 7:30. That seems brutally fast, not sure if I'll keep that or boost it up a bit. Just looked again and my A goal is a 3:19:59, which is a 7:37 pace. That's still way faster than what I've been running the past 24 months, but I'll give it a go for the next 16 months.

Wish I could be running with you at these paces. That's close to my goal too! :-)

I wish you could be running as well! I know you'll be back to it shortly. A 3:20 won't get me a BQ until next year, but if I could run that fast it's a 5 minute PR and will prove to me I can do it. In my previous BQ attempts I needed a 3:13, but they blew up and I went 12+ minutes over that time. I've thought I could have done a 3:20 if I aimed for it. Now that I haven't been consistently running good mileage the past 12 months, I don't know if a 3:20 is still attainable but if not this year I'll shoot for next year when it counts. Heal up Preston! Hopefully we can both be in Boston together in 2018.
