4 TM miles while it was 4 degrees outside. TM running will be the norm for at least the next week as our HIGH temp through Monday is 10 degrees (lowest temp -20 + windchill). Highs Thursday-Saturday: -1, -7, -6. I love Alaska weather.

Progression run as normal. 0.5 miles at 10:00, 1.5 at 8:57, 1 at 8:13, 1 at 7:35. 5 minute cool down. 1X10 curls, tricep, chest. 25 pushups & situps (but not at the same time).

I can't even imagine -20 degree windchill. Why do you live up there?

Preston, you misunderstood. -20 is the expected ambient temperature. With windchill those numbers could quickly go to -40. :)

I live here because it's easy to bundle up and stay warm; it is not so easy to get more naked than naked when it's 95 out with 98% humidity. Plus, we have mountains. With elk. And moose. And bighorn sheep. Oh yeah, and we can run and play in those mountains too. Plus they're really pretty to look at. We have wood burning stoves to keep us warm when it's -20 outside!
