Morning: 4 miles this morning from the church while my Freshman was at seminary. First chilly morning, but not yet frosty. 37F was a bit chilly, but okay once I warmed up. Had long sleeve tech shirt, compression socks, shorts, gloves, and a thin hat to cover the ears. Perfect set up, didn't sweat much even with a good effort. Watch freaked out afterwards when resetting today's workout (went totally blank, can't turn it back on), so no idea of pace. Hope it comes back to life when I plug it into the charger.

Noon: Boot Camp. I haven't done a double in a while and I'm guessing this week I'll remember why as my legs are gonna be sore. It was a legs and running day and while I'll be happy with the long-term results I'll be limping around tomorrow and beyond I think. Lunges, squats, hamstring exercises, etc. Good stuff, lots of sweat.

Sorry to correct you but 37F is COLD!

No, it's gotta be frosty before it's cold. :) Close but no cigar. This was just a taste of chilly - we'll be back to 82 by Sunday then the long drag back towards Winter will surely happen.

Preston and I just can't conceive of ever needing long sleeves and gloves at this point but it's fun to read about.

That boot camp sounds semi-sadistic...

And I can't conceive of running in a sauna during most of your year. It's amazing how the body adapts. These bodies of ours are truly incredible creations.

And yes, boot camp is full of those who like to have pain inflicted upon them, and led by one who likes others to suffer! But all for the good of the order. Plus, she has really great arms so clearly her methods work.
