4 miles in a warm South breeze this morning. Wanted to go 6 but my legs just didn't have it.

I missed out on a run on Saturday as it was just too busy. I really hope I can get on a long run this coming weekend.

Boot Camp at Noon. I'm still tired from doing 3 BC sessions last week, but I'm a glutton for punishment. Aren't we all?

It it was the same south breeze we have it must have been miserable!

I'm just hazarding a guess that my South breeze was just a wee bit cooler than yours! And humidity not as bad. It was shocking for it to be so warm this late in the year. We're normally in the low 50s by morning and it was 73 plus a warm breeze. I'll take it over humidity anyday though... :)

hey russ -- just stopping by to make sure your google+ button is working.

looks like your running is going well (plus boot camping!)

any plans for a fall race?

From Russ on Mon, Aug 26, 2013 at 13:35:44 from 74.114.3.253

hi allie. google+ or any other cool social networking doesn't work from my work computer, but i'll give it a try from my phone. nifty gadgets.

no dinero for travelling to a fall race, so alas, i think not. i would love to do santa barbara in november. they have free elite registrations. you should do it.

allie, how is your tou training coming along? are you feeling as good about tou as you did about desnews? i can't wait to see cool comparison graphs. thanks for stopping by.

From allie on Mon, Aug 26, 2013 at 13:47:45 from 97.117.89.156

i hear you on the $$ for racing -- it adds up quickly. registration fees are high enough. add in travel expenses and it's kind of ridiculous.

TOU training is going well, but i'm getting tired. the momentum is waning. :) luckily, the race is less than a month away, and the taper is in sight, so i think i will survive.

i have more data for TOU than any other race, so yes, crazycoolcolorful graphs are coming.

Good to hear that TOU taper is near. You've had a long year of solid preparation and you're probably ready for a bit of a break. After TOU are you winding it down until Woodlands?

From allie on Mon, Aug 26, 2013 at 15:28:13 from 97.117.89.156

yes, big break. there are some fun 5k's around here in the fall, but those will be just for fun. no marathon plans for awhile.

Maybe a Mueller to North Canyon loop when the colors are peaking, allie?

yes.
