Stayed up late last night replacing the Macpherson struts on my son's Subaru so I didn't get up this morning to run. And I'm okay with that.

I'm really tired of my current training schedule and considering packing it in and not doing my 50 miler. I will probably do the run but I'm going to significantly decrease my mileage. I'm just tired of it, and I'm tired. All the time. Not sure what happened recently but the past couple weeks I've just been dragging, and I really don't have all that much going on. Busy most evenings but it's not too taxing of stuff. I might continue to just take it easy and run as much as I feel like but not come close to the mileage I really should be putting in to run 50 miles. And maybe I'll drop down to the 50K or 30K. I really don't know at this point.

All that whining aside, I feel blessed that I can run.

i'm in your boat. it's either capsized or run out of gas, not sure which. or maybe it needs new struts?

maybe we need a "ran out of gas" support group held individually in our homes alone (since most runners just want to be left alone). sorry to hear that. begs the question of how much emotional baggage impacts physical ability. probably quite a bit. with your move and everything and with my current worries in life there's likely quite a toll being paid with the currency of energy. too many analogies. my mind has exploded.
