Last run before flying to St. George. No watch, so not sure of speed but felt good. Legs are goofy and doing weird things again, but thanks to Allie's advice I'm not worrying about it and just telling my body to go for it - let out all the craziness so Saturday my legs will be ready. Worried slightly about my right shoulder as I forget that it sometimes yells & screams during long runs. I'm sure it will scream on Saturday, but hopefully it will subside after I let it know that I care. Because I do.

yes, let out all that goofiness. :)

have a safe trip to st. george and best of luck this weekend. i'm sure your shoulder will be fine -- the adrenaline and focus you have during a race usually keeps the yellers and screamers quiet.

Best wishes on your race, Russ. You have a very solid training cycle under your belt, but just as important, you have an entire year of consistent training. You are going to have a VERY different marathon experience than you did 14 months ago at Desnews. I look forward to your race report. Say hi to Vard and Toni for me. I wish I could go to the 70th b-day party for your mom. I have funny memories of stopping to see her at the fabric store after getting a donut at Parsons.

Thanks Kam! I'm going to be taking a large deposit against my 18 months of running bank account. Hopefully I don't overdraft. I'll say Hi to my folks - I think my Mom's really going to enjoy the party. Love the memory - Parson's doughnuts & Family Fabrics. A delicious combination.
