I'm heading to Florida on Saturday so I skipped my run to spend some time with my wife. This was poor planning on my part - just got back 10 days ago from 4 days of elk hunting, now heading to a conference for 7 days. It's a learning conference I've been to before that's the best in the industry, so I'm excited about going and it's only once a year so the timing couldn't be avoided. Regardless, it will be awesome, not to mention the weather. 35 degrees in Billings, 80 degrees in Orlando. Looking forward to running at sea level in summer clothes again.

80 degrees! Now that's some serious sunshine for this time of the year. Enjoy it. Don't get burnt.

Elk hunting? I'll have to google that...

Enjoy your trip, Russ. You should find a nice European beach on which to do a time trial. Kidding, of course.

will you get the chance to run on the beach, feel the sand between your toes and the spray of the ocean on your face?

Wow - great suggestions Kam & Darth. And just for you Bam I'll wear sunscreen. By the way Elk = Wapiti = large animals in the deer family that taste great if you're lucky enough to get one. I haven't yet been lucky in that regard but it's fun to chase them.
