Everybody sing with me, "I've lost that running feeling, whoa oh that running feeling. I've lost that running feeling, now it's gone, gone, gone, oh oh whoa oh oh." I tried to run on the TM today at the Y but it was a huge struggle so I mainly walked while watching an episode of Longmire. 15% at 3 mph is a decent walk in the park. Not sure what my long term plans are to get back my running feeling, but it ain't gonna be through running. Thinking about figuring out the swim thing. I can swim just fine to recreate, but I can't swim laps to save my life. Like, I honestly couldn't do 10 laps in a lap pool. I would drown (even in a 4 foot pool). Boot Camp is good and maybe a good option but it frequently incorporates running. Not enough to be fatigued and enough other muscle groups to probably help the legs. Spin class is all legs and although different muscles, same muscle groups and they are tired. Who wants to teach me how to swim laps?

:) That was pretty darn funny allie, I gotta admit. I hate Zumba with a passion reserved normally only for all things BYU. You struck a nerve. Bravo!

I'm glad there's a place on the internet I can spew my bile about BYU. I'm partially ashamed to be the father of a monson scholar. I just can't stomach the sea of homogeny that is BYU.

time will cure your malaise, Russ. Swimming laps will make you insane. It's even worse drudgery than spin or treadmill.

Maybe you could do a review of all the eating fads, and blog about it!!!

Paleo, atkins, cabbage soup, grapefruit cleanse, 5 bite diet, cookie diet, Morgan Sperlock diet, vegan...the opportunities are endless

I'll teach you, I was a swimmer in high school. Lesson 1: have a 6' 6" wingspan, and shave your legs.

When you're done with lesson 1 let me know.
