8 miles up Keller Road. The cold spell continues as it was 19F this morning, but with fog so no wind. Interesting running in fog. Even though it wasn't all that cold my eyelids kept sticking shut, I guess with all the humidity of being in a cloud. That was cool. Legs felt a bit better this morning, althoug 2nd day soreness abounds. Kept the pace slowish but steady and ran MP on the last two miles. Prayers for Boston. Frequently.

Not too cold? I am from Texas and that sounds extremely unpleasant. The cloud running sounds cool.

When does spring come in the big sky country, Russ?

Bec, I would trade you weather for a week. Not sure I can handle Texas heat for longer than that. 19 is cold, but it's much too warm for eyelids to be sticking with frost. It's normally close to 0 before that happens so it was pretty weird.

Kam, spring normally happened a long time ago. Our averages for today are 58 and 35, and the past few days our high temps haven't even hit our average low temp. I love Canadian air. We should be back to normal on Friday (57/38) and next Thursday's calling for 71/46. That's more like it.

Sorry for you having to suffer the cold but I prayed for cooler weather for this Sunday's Marathon down here in Temple Texas, I just didn't realize it was going to be at your expense. :-(

IJR, I'm happy to help! I hope the cool weather continues in Temple for approximately the first 3:30 of the marathon Sunday.
