6 more difficult miles this morning. I normally go up the hill so that my out is slow and steady and my return is downhill and fast. I need to switch it up more as going downhill first then working my way back home is definitely more challenging. 43F outside, so much nicer. Still dressed too warmly so bring on 50s and I'll know what to do.

most every run i do is uphill first, downhill last. no one wants to climb up a hill at the end of a run! ;)

good work this morning.

Run dowhill at the start and finish - get the old lady to pick you at the bottom of the hill:)

Brilliant Bam! I knew you were good for more than just your excellent prose.

I have the pleasure of running a bunch of annoying little hills...up-down-up-down-up-down. It feels great when I get to run on some flat terrain :-)

Glad to hear you are finally getting some warmer weather!

IJR, I have almost no flat ground where I live. If I run in town at the Y I get lots of flat, but normally I run at home. All the hills really help me on races with a lot of up and down, but that's just a perk of living in the hills.

Here's my normal 6 mile course: http://connect.garmin.com/activity/266368675. It's also my 4 mile course most days, I just turn around at mile 2. Today's run was the first 3 miles of this course: http://connect.garmin.com/activity/244548114. I turned around at 3 and came back home.

That's a good run. I need to find out how to connect to the Garmin Connect... I'm going to look into it. If I can I'll show you my routes.

Ha ha... It took a while but I figured it out. Now I'm a Garmin Connect Guy. Here is my run today. It was my 6.8 mile loop X3+ to make the 21 miles. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with all of this information but it looks intriguing :-) It looks like my biggest climb is 112' on one mile stretch.

Nice IJR! I've never been to San Antonio so I admit I thought it was all flat. That's some great elevation change.

Later this month I'll be in SA for the first time, at a conference near the River Walk. Looking forward to a few nice runs there.

From I Just Run on Fri, Apr 05, 2013 at 16:14:54 from 67.79.11.242

When exactly are you coming to SA?

From Russ on Fri, Apr 05, 2013 at 16:23:57 from 74.114.3.253

I fly in the 29th and fly out early on the 2nd. I'll message you the details.
