6 miles on very sore legs, so I'll take it. No fast paces today but slow & steady wins the race. Or so I've been led to believe. It's unbelievable how sore my calves are from 2 minutes of calf raises on Monday. We did 1 set of normal raises + pulsing, 1 set of toes in + pulsing, 1 set of toes out + pulsing. And I don't recall the last time my calves felt this way. Glad I have my Bam-proof calf sleeves or I'd really be hurting.

That's the way my chest felt last week after doing some light weights. We'll see how sore I am in a couple of days from today's workout.

I kind of crave muscle soreness, and Boot Camp does it for me every time. We hit different muscles each week so one part is always sore. The calves were brutal though. The exercise was only 2 minutes out of a 50 minute workout, and I'm hobbling. Love it.

You're sick! :-)

Has poor little Russie-wussie got soresie-worsie legsie-wegsies? Ah did-dums:) Give 'em a rub and you'll be fine:)

OK this sounds fun! I tried those calf things once - they only make you sore the first time, but I think they are really good for you.

Hey Bam, go tell Riley that he needs to go out fast in Ogden. I couldn't resist :)

Hope the legs are feeling better Russ:)

Dave - You're just trying to get me into trouble. It's like one kid telling another kid to steal something from a shop -'Go on, I did it, now you do it. Go on, you chicken.'

Oh Dave, Bam's too wise for that one. I get in enough trouble on here from people not understanding my accent, never mind my vernacular:) Imagine the flack I'd get. And then when I say, 'Dave made me do it,' nobody will believe me. I'll pass.

You're gonna be in deep doo-doo:)

There, I did it. Wow, what a buzz. Let's do it some more, go on, please.

Oh stop, you know you liked it :)

Now let's see what his splits were after next weekend. I wonder if I could get Sasha to

No probably not.

Bam, so sorry that I was busy yesterday and couldn't respond to your wussie-soresie-worsie comments. That was great! Now I have a task for you: While standing on the ground, do 30 seconds of calf raises as quickly as you can, followed by 15 seconds of pulsing up & down quickly. Then point your toes all the way inward like a pirouette and repeat the above. Then point your toes completely outward and repeat. Let me know how your calves feel on Saturday. And Sunday. Poor little Bamsie wamsie might be a bit soresie worsie! Now go get Riley to do the same thing. It'll win him Ogden.

Russ - you are very good at giving instructions: clear and concise and masterful. I'll try that later. I suspect you might be right, although I fear I may suffer beyond the weekend.

From Dave Taylor on Thu, May 09, 2013 at 08:15:24 from 63.255.191.163

I have noticed though that it only makes you super sore once. The other day I tried a piece of it while holding 100 lb weights and it was a little hard but didn't make me sore later. Of course I could only hold on to them long enough to do 10 raises at a time so I might need more hand strength :)
