| | 86F outside at Noon, so I went inside and ran on the TM. First time in a while, and much easier than last time I was inside. My fitness has increased. And Law & Order SVU caught a bad guy. Shocking.

| | Traveling for a wedding, so ran in Driggs, Idaho before the wedding rehearsal. Not enough time to do 12, and not sure I was up for it either. I had to walk a couple times. Tired from the drive I think.

| | Got ready to run in Island Park, ID but when I headed outside it was raining. And 41 degrees. I didn't have a jacket and no desire to be wet and freezing cold, so I didn't go running. It was a wise move.

| | 10 miles at 5:20 am, 44F, 88% humidity, dew point 41F so everything was drenched in dew. Really pretty all morning, nearly complete darkness when I started, which is the first time in months it's been dark for a morning run. I ran my easier 10 mile route, had a decent time. Glad for the gloves as the hands were chilly even with them. I ran pretty quick on the last couple miles, felt good to run faster than MP.

| | Ran "naked" at Noon from the Y. Left my Garmin plugged into the computer at home, so I just ran. It was kind of nice to not know pace, although it also drove me nuts. Pretty sure I ran harder and faster at times than I would have, and I ran slower at times than I would have. Ended it with a solid effort, passing one of our executives on my last 1/4 mile. Not sure if that was a good move or a bad move. He was only out for a jog and I went blazing past him. At least he noticed me! :)

| | 8 mile run in Golden Gate Park but went a bit long so ran 9.25 before stopping. Good run, finally warmed up after 7 miles. Ran to the ocean. Love this place, could never live here.

| | 5 miles from home. Brisk outside, 49F, but felt great. Legs a bit tired from travel but not bad, hit some decent paces but didn't push too hard.

| | Worst run of the training cycle. I'm surprised I got past 10 as I walked a lot and legs felt rough.. Until later in the run, that is.

| | In hindsight I understand why my Monday run was blah. After work I started feeling a scratchy throat and general malaise (love that word). I went to bed at 9 pm (way early for me) and stayed home from work Tuesday. Babying the cold seems to have worked. Went to work Wednesday and Thursday I'm feeling much better. Seems to have just been a blip, thankfully. Hopefully I can run 8 on Saturday. |
