Personal:

Started running seriously in March 2010. Married 22 years to a hot momma and we have 3 boys, 1 sweet girl, 2 dogs, 3 2 0 1 cat, and 6     4 5 6 3 5 3 1 2 0 chickens (until Spring 2019 when we'll start over). As of September 2018 I'm looking for work... yay. I'm on the local School Board.

Slept in today. Went to bed late plus felt tired plus feeling the strain of my bruised/strained butt muscle. I felt it yesterday pretty good when lifting a few heavy-ish items that I put back into the Scout trailer. I guess my longest mileage of my plan week isn't going to happen. That's okay. I will go easier this week than planned so I'm ready for the Grand Teton Relay next weekend and my training plan doesn't get totally derailed.

it's always better to listen to your body and endure a minor setback rather than risk a full-blown injury. hope the muscle strain feels better, and best of luck at the relay next weekend.

Thanks Allie! The muscle felt much better today so hopefully.... Amazing how just a one day layoff can sometimes be helpful. I'll keep listening to my body and respond accordingly. I'm way excited for the relay - my first one. It should be a blast.
