6 brisk miles this winter morning. 21F, 7F with wind chill. This should be the last of winter weather for the year (hopefully). I felt pretty good this morning and didn't push the pace, but was still holding it nice and steady. The wind was from the side and on the way back my rear end became quite icy. A lovely feeling. Per my morning ritual (although I don't write about it) did 25 pushups while waiting for the shower to warm up. It's only 25 a day but amazing what  difference it makes for my core and the other affected upper body muscles.

Maybe I should try 25 a day. My shower gets hot pretty fast, though. And then I'd have even more trouble keeping the ladies away...

I need to do more than just run. I think I'll start hitting the gym and lift some weights this summer. Thanks for the reminder. :-)

Kam, it is tough keeping the ladies away, but someone's gotta do it. I recommend it.

IJR, I think you're doing just fine! Last year I only ran, so this year I'm trying to maintain once a week Boot Camp during my 50K & marathon training. I do my 25 pushups at home so I don't have to do knee pushups at Boot Camp. Not very macho.... :)
